Wanna be a pop star? Try your hand at performing in the UCVision Song Contest! Submit your original song or creative song cover as an individual or in a team–or apply as a performer to be matched with a songwriter.

What is it?

The UCVision Song Contest is a campus-wide song competition in which students can submit music videos or video performances of original songs or creative song covers. Students may submit as individuals, in teams, or as representatives of any RSO or house that wishes to participate. There is no limit to team size, or to the number of teams a given student can be a part of.

Submission and Voting

Submissions will be accepted through noon on Saturday, May 7, and will be posted here as they come in. Students can vote for their favorite submissions at any time through 4pm on Saturday, May 7 to determine finalists for the live, online broadcasted event.

The Live Event!

The UCVision concert and celebration will be held on Sunday, May 8 at 4:30pm in Performance Lab 701 at the Logan Center for the Arts. This event will feature the videos of the finalists as well as live performances and interviews with the contestants. Finalists will receive fame, glory, and a UCVision trophy.
